Linda Kay joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Realty (formerly Prudential), in July 2002 and in May 2003, assumed the position of Operations/Human Resources Manager. In 2008, Linda assumed the responsibilities of Career Development Director, a role she relishes for the opportunity of making a difference in the careers and success of the Realtors at the firm. Linda also enjoys meeting with new licensees and experienced agents to discuss the culture, education, tools and support that are an integral part of the company's business model, in order to help identify those professionals who she believes would thrive in our professional environment.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway, Linda spent 5 ½ years with Fred Sands Realtors as Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities, having overall responsibility for 400 employees and 25 offices. Before that, Linda worked at Jon Douglas Realtors for 9 ½ years in various corporate capacities including Sales Development Administrator, Director of Human Resources and Administrative Services Manager.
A native of Los Angeles, Linda went to Holy Family High School in Glendale. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UCLA and worked in several technology-oriented companies as office manager, sales coordinator, technical writer and operations manager. Linda crafts and sews prolifically in her spare time, has traveled extensively and is crazy about animals.
